Rachel Dun is a New Zealand born printmaker, obtaining her BVA at SCU in Lismore in 2017, while raising her family off grid in the hinterland of Byron Bay. Now residing in Brunswick Heads, drawing inspiration from both the coast and rainforest surrounds.

 

Finding solace in the environment, I wanted to reflect on my local beach and surrounds of Brunswick Heads, but my inner landscape would unconsciously reappear in my artworks. So I followed that back to the rainforest hinterlands of Byron, surrendering to the spirit of place
